Back to school... it´s a great thing. Learning to rest in God, trusting in His Word. Over the past months since I got to Redding, I´m learning to:

1. Seek His Presence - rest in Him
2. To eat, drink and rest in Him. The longer we rest, the longer we run!
It´s important to be nurished by Him daily, moment by moment. Heidi Baker shared that the orphans that they take-in in Mozambique, they´re fed in the morning. Then after a few hours, they are thirsty, then after a few hours, they are HUNGRY! But they had food a few hours ago! Yet they still need food, and water. This is how we are suppose to be, hungry and thirsty, DAILY!
Yes Father, I´m hungry and thirsty, and I need more of You!
3. God speaks to me through many ways - especially through nature.
4. God loves me, and WOOS me with His love, to pursue Him, to love Him! This is AMAZING!

Have you discovered what God is speaking to you today?

He has hidden nuggets for us to seek out daily! He speaks! YES HE DOES. The guy called "Word", wants to speak to you. Ha ha ... He is not passive, nor silent! Thank you Father!

Today is Thanksgiving Day, my favorite holiday! It´s the only holiday that I really celebrate, I don´t even really celebrate Christmas. To me, Thanksgiving is about getting the family together, having friends over, and speak and remember God´s goodness, faithfulness, grace and love over our lives in the past year. That´s why I like it soooooo much! I love Thanksgiving!!

This year, it´s a little bit different at our house. Normally, my mom cooks a turkey, and invite people over, especially a large family, which is our distant relative. But this year, we just had our simple family lunch yesterday, and today... i went to a friend´s house to have dinner, and celebrated her b-day. My parents went to a family group dinner, my brother´s at a ski trip in Tahoe. We were at different places.

But... I´m thankful that I had the chance to go to the park this morning by myself, to reflect upon what God has done in this past year. Last year, on Thanksgiving day, i was still in Argentina, and it was the last day of Bible school! ha ha... That was fun... and great memories. Since then, many things happened, learned who I am, and who I am in God, grew in many areas... and know that I still have lots of things to work on.

I´m thankful that this year, God is constantly showing me that He is there for me, His love for me, and His unending love and faithfulness. There are endless times where I crave for something - such as chocolate, or yesterday, i wanted to eat pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving, and God totally provided for me!! Yap.. it´s pretty funny how God fulfills the desires of my tummy! ha ha... He is an awesome God, and He loves me!
Not only that, I think I´ve a good circle of girl-friends this year... I´m having deeper fellowship with them, which has never happened in my life before... THANK YOU FATHER for providing, and loving me in this past year. I love you!

the pair of geese that visited me! Posted by Picasa
Nov. 11, Sat. - I went on a date with God at Turtle Bay Park. Walked along the trails, over the Sundial bridge, took many cool pictures, then sat along the Sacramento River. As I was journaling, and praying and asking for more of Him - a pair of Canadian Geese came over! They were starring at me, just looking at me for no reason, except that I knew that they were sent by God. God showed me His love, His care, His Presence by them. I had tears in my eyes... just knowing how much I´m loved by my Father, and friend. It was an awesome experience! They not only visited me once, they came over 3 times to see how I´m doing! Wow!
And I also remembered the story from Captivating, how the author experienced God through nature! Now I can definately say that I had the first hand experience of seeing God through nature!

Thank you God! You´re awesome!
